Frenger is pleased to announce Brammer’s acquisition of 100% of RHL, a French company specialized in the distribution of industrial products and hydraulic systems. The company, based in Charleville-Mézières - North East France, employs 14 people working for blue-chip companies such as PSA and more than 300 other customers.
This acquisition is the 5th initiated and managed by Frenger on behalf of Brammer and the 3rd in France.
The acquisition of RHL business is part of Brammer’s growth strategy in France to expand its product range and its technical expertise in hydraulic systems. It will also help Brammer to reinforce its position by increasing its market share in this region of France after the acquisition of Mairiaux Distribution in 2010 (managed by Frenger), as well located in Charleville-Mézières, which improved its expertise in PPE. It will also provide Brammer with better purchasing terms with Parker and additional volumes with Brammer’s existing range of products.
Brammer is the leading Pan-European added value distributor of industrial Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul products. The group will achieve revenues of around £600 million in 2012 with more than 2,500 employees and is listed on the LSE since 1954.
Brammer was assisted in this project by Frenger International Ltd, a Mergers & Acquisitions boutique specialized in the initiation and management of cross-border acquisitions for its clients. Based in London since 1983, Frenger International has completed more than 50 operations on behalf of European and North American groups from many sectors.
