Copenhagen Capacity is the official inward investment agency for the Greater Copenhagen Area in Denmark.
The agency was set up in 1994 and employs 21 people.
They deal with 120 to 150 investment projects every year and contributed to the creation of 500 jobs in the region in 2005.
Major successes include:
Nokia Global development centre (1,300 persons)
DaimlerChrysler Scandinavian HQ (200 persons)
Biogen production facility (investment of USD 400 million, 200 jobs)
Mobile company 3 Scandinavian call-centre (250 persons)
Adina Serviced Apartments (investment USD 22 million, 40jobs)

International Business Wales (formerly the Welsh Development Agency) is one of the largest IPAs in the world. It employs more than 1,200 people. Since its creation, the WDA has created and safeguarded hundred of thousands of jobs.
